In 2000, Crane began developing production scheduling software for mining companies. By 2013, his company, MineSched Software International Ltd, had expanded to serve clients in over 80 countries and was acquired by Dassault Systèmes.
Drawing on his experience in the mining industry, Crane is now dedicated to creating advanced planning and scheduling technology for construction companies. His mission is to deliver innovative solutions that enhance project outcomes and drive efficiency.
Phil Martin holds a degree in Mathematical Sciences from CQUniversity in Australia. Phil has over 25 years of experience in software development.
Before co-founding BuilderPlan, Phil and Crane worked together for many years developing what became the world's leading scheduling software for mining companies.
Phil is passionate about developing technology to improve efficiency, communication and collaboration for business applications.
Rob holds an undergraduate degree in philosophy from the University of Toronto and a graduate diploma in business administration from the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University.
With five years of experience in the software sector, he has worked across sales, business development, and revenue operations at companies ranging from publicly traded enterprises to startups he’s helped scale from Series A to Series B.
